Some things here in Western NY are resuming! Not everything but those event organizers that feel they can move forward safely are doing so! Though I'm sorry to say that Canal Fest in the Tonawanda's has fallen victim, I'm excited that the Lockport Arts & Crafts Festival hosted by the Lockport Optimist Club is moving forward and will take place on the weekend of June 26 and 27th. I haven't decided yet if I'll be there, might, just might, have family in the area so we'll see! AND our student show opening weekend here in Newfane will be taking place April 30-May 2nd! Can't wait! The storefront windows of Artisan Alley will be used for the weekend so the shop doesn't go beyond allowable capacity! This will be in conjunction with the Shop Newfane Weekend sponsored by the Newfane High School Seniors - THANK YOU!!!

As we continue to transform our approach on favorite events, I'm excited for the possibilities!!! It's certainly been a positive to see art presented in new ways to the public. We were so stuck in a rut, not utilizing the technology that was available to its fullest and that applies to all aspects of life. I personally find it refreshing to use our creativeness to come up with new ways to present our Art and think outside of the box! I'm looking forward to a student art show in April/May and utilizing what we have to it's fullest! Not only can you see this show in person, if you're lucky enough to be in the area, but it can be seen far and wide! Stay tuned for details!
